Nationally Endorsed Skill Sets
Skill sets are defined as single units of competency, or combinations of units of competency from an endorsed Training Package, which link to a licence or regulatory requirement, or defined industry need.
Skill Sets enable a qualified worker to move laterally into work areas addressed by the skill set or to broaden their skill base in relation to the services they provide.

Skill Gap Training
Essential Skills Training can also deliver training that is specific to a topic or area within your organisation. This way you can target skills development and your employees will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units covered, which can contribute to another qualification in the future.
Skill Gap Training can be made up of one or more units of competency, covering similar subjects, examples of common skill sets include;
- Medication Assistance
- Manual Handling
- Food Handling
To recieve a Statement of Attainment students will be required to complete a written assessment task and will also be assessed in the workplace.

Non-Accredited Training
Non-Accredited Training does not lead to a formal qualification or Statement of Attainment. These workshops are designed to cover areas that are not specific to a unit of competency, or the employer may not wish for the students to complete competency assessment. These can be taliored to your organisation's policies and procedures and carried out in your workplace.
Examples of Non-accredited training;
- Leadership in the workplace
- Elder Abuse
- Clinical Skills
On completion of this training, students will recieve a Certificate of Attendence.
