Traineeship
There are 2 types of traineeships offered by the Commonwealth Government, New Entrant Traineeships and Existing Worker Traineeships.
New Entrant Traineeships are employees who have been your organisation for less than 3 months full time and less than 12 months part time, this program requires the employer to only pay an administration fee (which at this stage is $424) and the government offsets remainder of the fees.
Existing Worker Traineeships are for employees who have been with your organisation for more than 3 months full-time or more than 12 months part-time. The employers pays the RTO fees and then they recieve incentives from the government, on commencement and completion of the traineeship. Sometimes the incentives can be well above the cost of the training itself.

ACETI
The Aged Care Education and Training Incentive (ACETI) program will provide incentive payments to eligible aged care workers who undertake eligible education and training programs.
Aged Care workers undertaking eligible Vocational Education and Training qualifications, will receive $500 on commencement of the training and $500 on successful completion of the certificate and continued employment in an eligible aged care service.
Eligible Qualifications Include;
- CHC30208 – Certificate III in Aged Care
- CHC30308 – Certificate III in Home and Community Care
- CHC40108 – Certificate IV in Aged Care
- BSB40807 – Certificate IV in Frontline Management
